Rush Hour - Roads

This series of images was made by photographing motorways and dual carriageways using a one hour exposure over the period of rush hour. Thousands of cars and lorries speed beneath the bridges from which the photographs were taken.  Due to the long exposure the spaces appear empty apart from a subtle trace of the relentlessly moving traffic.
